What we Believe
GODS WORD
We are a bible base bible believing church, our foundation is rooted and
grounded in the word of God. We believe that Gods word is In the Old and the New
Testament. And life lessons are reachable and teachable in each historical
narrative.
We believe in the Sufficiency of the Holy Scriptures for Salvation
We believe that the Holy Scriptures contain all things necessary for salvation
We believe all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
( 2nd Timothy 3:16)
Christ died for the sins of the whole world, he was crucified dead and buried,
God did truly raise Christ from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and we are
to remain faithful until he returns to judge all men in the last days. (Romans
10:9-10)
THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST
THE HOLY GHOST
The Holy Ghost proceeding from the Father and the Son, is of one Substance,
majesty, and glory, with the Father and the Son, eternal God.
The Holy Spirit is that inner strength God gives for help and comfort to do His
will. (John 15:26)
A sacrament is an outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace.
The sacraments ordained of Christ, are not only badges or tokens of Christian
men’s profession, rather they are certain signs of grace, and God’s good
will,toward us. God doth work invisible in us and not only quicken, but also
strengthen and confirm our faith in Him. There are two sacraments ordained of
Christ our Lord in the Gospel; Baptism and the Supper of The Lord.
THE SACRAMENTS
BAPTISM
Baptism is not only a sign of profession and mark of difference, whereby
Christians are distinguished from others that are not baptized; but is also a
signed of regeneration, or the new birth, in Christ. Baptism is representative
of the cleansing power of God. (John 3:13-17)
The Supper of The Lord is not only a sign of the love that Christians ought to
have among themselves one to another but also is a sacrament of our redemption
by Christ’s death. Christ gave himself up for us a fragrant offering and
sacrifice to God (Eph. 5:1-2). And if it is received with faith, the bread,
which we break, is a partaking of the body of Christ. And likewise, the cup of
blessing is a partaking of the blood of Christ.
THE LORD'S SUPPER
THE CHURCH
The visible church of Christ is a congregation of faithful believers, in which
the pure word of God is preached and taught, and the sacraments duly
administered. The church exist to promote the worship of God, which says God is
worthy of Praise. The church corrects and edify its members that they may be
built up from within. The church in this sense helps in sanctification.
Therefore It exists to convert the world. It works against any system that
denies any person to be human (Eph 6:10-18).
We believe the church is essential to all walks of life. It is essential to
family, community, government, and our spiritual health, we also believe it is
essential for our physical health. We are strong believers in (Matt16:18) “The
gates of hell will not prevail against the church”
