The purpose of the Mobile Meals Ministry is to help older persons maintain safe, independent lifestyles in their own homes. Our goal is to provide supplemental dietary care by providing them a well-balanced meal one day a week (Friday). Other individuals, churches and community groups provide the meals Monday through Thursday.

The Mobile Meals Program serves individuals who are homebound and frail. The ministry also provides for those who are at risk for institutional care. These individuals must live within the boundaries for the Spencer Mobile Meals program. St John has a very enthusiastic and dedicated group of cooks, servers and drivers. All workers are volunteers and do not receive stipends.
